Improved Efficency at EMGE

The 17-year collaboration between EMGE and MANUS is an important success story built on efficiency and innovation in the defense and aerospace industries. EMGE has been an important company in the defense industry since 1981, working with major organizations such as ASELSAN and TUSAŞ. The company operates with 41 CNC machining centers, specialized machines for aluminum and titanium, CMMs capable of measuring up to 5 meters, and mill-turn centers.

 

 

This long-standing partnership began in 2007 to address a specific need for one of EMGE's 5-axis machines. MANUSpost developer added the missing TCPC feature to the machines, while continuing to provide post processor and simulation solutions for EMGE’s CNC machines. MANUSpost developer, which is compatible with a wide variety of machines and control units, gave EMGE the flexibility to easily work with their specialized machines not available in the market. In this process, MANUSsim simulation program made transitions between machines much easier, significantly increasing both production speed and efficiency. With MANUSsim, CNC setups are faster, potential problems are identified in advance, and high speed and precision are achieved in production.

 

 

Efficiency improvements in production processes are critical for reducing costs and using resources effectively. EMGE has greatly benefited from MANUSsim in improving production times and increasing efficiency. As a result, machining processes become much safer and transfering setups become much easier, leading to significant savings in both time and money.
