They shouldn’t be free, nor overpriced — but fairly accessible, reflecting the real work and expertise behind them.
🔧 7. Freedom from forced upgrades.
No one should be pushed to change their entire CAM system just to make a small post modification.
🔧 8. Simulation must be part of the process.
Every change made to a post should be verifiable through reliable CNC simulation — easily and safely.
🔧 9. Education should evolve.
Universities and technical schools should go beyond basic G-code training and include post-processor fundamentals in their CNC curriculum.
🔧 10. Post-processors should evolve continuously.
They’re not static files — they’re living components of the CNC workflow that should grow as machines and strategies advance.
